Responsibilities As a procurement specialist at Transitio, you'll support your colleagues throughout the entire process from needs analysis and market dialogue to driving procurements through to contract signing. You'll work with large and technically advanced projects. Your primary focus will be the procurement of rail vehicles as well as maintenance and upgrades to existing fleets. Beyond this, your area of responsibility also includes related and operations-focused services, including IT systems and consulting services. The role involves end-to-end responsibility throughout all procurement phases. With your specialist expertise, you contribute structure and business acumen—from strategic planning and smart compensation models to commercial supplier dialogue. You work closely with project managers, technical specialists, and legal experts, and play an active role in supplier relations—often in international contexts. Furthermore, you'll be an important part of developing the company's work methods, templates, and processes for procurement and contract management. Examples of Responsibilities: - Plan and execute procurements according to LUF – from analysis to award - Drive supplier dialogues and negotiations in large procurements - Develop and refine commercial structures, contract and compensation models - Provide advisory services to operations on procurement and business matters - Contribute to the development of processes, governing documents, and contract management Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities - Academic degree or education combined with experience deemed equivalent - At least 7 years of experience working with procurement - Strong experience independently driving procurements from start to finish, preferably from technically advanced industries such as transport, industry, defense, or energy - Experience with complex projects involving negotiation and business structures - Experience with LOU or LUF - Experience with supplier dialogue and commercial work - Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious: - Experience with LUF procurement - Experience with international projects or negotiations - Experience with contract management - Experience working on the supplier side Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, you're confident in your expertise and experienced in working independently with significant responsibility.
