As a new employee, you will complete a 10-week SiS foundation training. The training combines theory with guided introduction, and equips you for the treatment role in SiS operations. Qualifications To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values—being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident and find it easy to build relationships with young people as well as with other team members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively. You must also have: A diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or equivalent higher education qualification Category B driving license Good Swedish in speech and writing It is a merit if you have: Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, such as work within psychiatry or LSS care Experience from client-facing positions at the Prison and Probation Service, such as correctional officer Security guard training Education in care and nursing Experience working with our target group of young boys.
