Job Description Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the role of treatment pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge for you. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified nursing and motivational work and provide daily support. Using your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work, and contributes to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You contribute to maintaining safety according to our procedures and you help ensure that daily life runs smoothly with school, cleaning, cooking, and more. Contact person responsibilities are also one of your tasks. The work may also include serving as a mentor to new employees and interns. As a new employee, you will complete a 10-week SiS foundation training. The training combines theory with guided introduction, and equips you for the treatment role in SiS operations. Qualifications To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values—being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident and find it easy to build relationships with young people as well as with other team members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively. You must also have: A diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or equivalent higher education qualification Category B driving license Good Swedish in speech and writing It is a merit if you have: Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, such as work within psychiatry or LSS care Experience from client-facing positions at the Prison and Probation Service, such as correctional officer Security guard training Education in care and nursing Experience working with our target group of young boys.
