About the Unit Sensor Company, part of the Swedish Air Force's Command and Control and Air Surveillance Battalion, is mobile and has the task of densifying, complementing, and replacing infrastructure for air radio and radar with mobile systems. The Company can, at short notice, strengthen radar coverage, air radio coverage, and communications at strategic points throughout the country. Key Responsibilities As a soldier in the Radio Platoon, you will be part of a group of soldiers and specialist officers. Your colleagues in the group consist of technicians, combat medics, vehicle drivers, support marksmen, and high-altitude workers. Your squad leader will be a specialist officer. Thus, there is high and diverse expertise in the group, and the opportunities for development are good in day-to-day work. The group has considerable freedom in how they solve their tasks. The communications soldier receives training in specific technical systems as well as climbing for high-altitude work.
