As Environment & Occupational Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and driving work in both environmental and occupational safety for the PA division. Main areas of responsibility: • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and internal requirements, including environmental compliance checks, audits, and regulatory reporting. • Manage chemical handling, including chemical inventories, safety data sheets, contact with chemical specialists, training, and drive substitution efforts. • Collect and analyze climate and environmental data and drive the operation's environmental and climate improvements through support in methodology and improvement work. • Develop and follow up on systematic occupational safety work according to legislation and internal requirements, including development of procedures, processes, and instructions. • Support managers in occupational safety work, for example through risk assessments, investigations of near-misses and accidents, and development of action and implementation plans. • Monitor changes in occupational safety legislation and implement these in the operation; conduct training and communicate information to the organization as needed. • Develop and manage the management system's procedures and processes for environment and occupational safety, and participate in planning, implementation, and follow-up of internal audits according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
