About the Role
Mycronic develops and manufactures advanced solutions for production within electronics and display manufacturing. Within one of our four divisions, PCB Assembly Solutions (PA), we offer equipment and software for electronics production—both standalone machines and complete production solutions. We have both offices and manufacturing under one roof in Kista, where you will be based. Mycronic has approximately 2,000 employees company-wide, with around 500 in the PA division across R&D, production, procurement, sales, finance, marketing, HR, and more. About 150 employees work at the Kista site, and your immediate team currently consists of 2 colleagues. As Environment & Occupational Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and driving work in both environmental and occupational safety for the PA division.

Key Responsibilities
As Environment & Occupational Safety Engineer, you are responsible for the operation's environmental and occupational safety work, including compliance with laws and requirements, chemical management, climate and environmental monitoring, occupational safety support to managers, development of management systems, and internal audits according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Main areas of responsibility:
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and internal requirements, including environmental compliance checks, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage chemical handling, including chemical inventories, safety data sheets, contact with chemical specialists, training, and drive substitution efforts.
• Collect and analyze climate and environmental data and drive the operation's environmental and climate improvements through support in methodology and improvement work.
• Develop and follow up on systematic occupational safety work according to legislation and internal requirements, including development of procedures, processes, and instructions.
• Support managers in occupational safety work, for example through risk assessments, investigations of near-misses and accidents, and development of action and implementation plans.
• Monitor changes in occupational safety legislation and implement these in the operation; conduct training and communicate information to the organization as needed.
• Develop and manage the management system's procedures and processes for environment and occupational safety, and participate in planning, implementation, and follow-up of internal audits according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
About You
For this role, we are looking for someone who is self-driven, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic environment where you can help shape and establish structures for environmental and occupational safety work. You have an analytical and structured approach to ensure high quality in documentation and reporting. Beyond that, you have a holistic perspective and the ability to integrate environmental and occupational safety issues into the operation to create long-term and sustainable results. Furthermore, you are communicative and have a talent for creating engagement and trust by guiding, educating, and building good relationships with both managers and employees.
In addition, you have:
• Post-secondary education in environmental engineering, occupational safety, natural sciences, industrial environment/occupational safety, or equivalent
• Several years of relevant experience, preferably from industry, manufacturing, or similar environments
• Experience with ISO 14001 and preferably ISO 9001 as well as audits
• Experience with systematic occupational safety work and application of AFS regulations
• Experience working with chemical management (SDS, REACH, WEEE, SCIP, etc.)
• Excellent proficiency in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the work
