Registered Dietitian for Primary Care in Eskilstuna

Dietitian Unit Primary Care Paramedicin Sörmland About Us In Sörmland, all dietitians are organized in a dietitian organization that belongs to the regional clinic Paramedicin Sörmland. Currently, there are approximately 45 dietitian colleagues in Sörmland. The primary care unit and specialist care unit work closely together, which offers opportunities to change your role over time if desired. The mission of primary care dietitians is to care for patients of different ages referred to us by the county's 31 health centers. Patient consultations take place at the health center and you work closely with other professions at the health center, which promotes collaboration around patients. Depending on the size of the health center, as a dietitian you have a full-time assignment at a large health center or a shared assignment at two smaller ones. In Sörmland, we have a well-developed network of dietitian colleagues who meet regularly, have a great sense of community, and are never more than a Teams link or phone call away. We are now looking for a new colleague for the primary care team in northern Sörmland (Eskilstuna, Mariefred and Strängnäs) with placement at health center(s) in Eskilstuna. If you are new to your role as a dietitian, there is an opportunity for introduction and supervision by experienced dietitian colleagues. We can offer you: • Wonderful colleagues • Opportunity for professional development through courses and university courses • Opportunity to dedicate part of your work time to development work • Flexible working hours and the ability to manage your own work schedule • Variety with the opportunity to work from home one day per week • Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 (2026) and benefits in the benefits portal Benify. Your Responsibilities Our work is based on evidence-based guidelines and a code of ethics. We work according to the nutrition care process, which involves assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment of nutrition-related problems and documentation according to NCP. The work also includes assessing the need for and prescribing nutritional supplements. The work is varied and you meet patients of different ages. Patient contact can take place individually at the clinic, in the form of distance visits or as group education for example patients with diagnoses such as IBS and diabetes. Dietitians can be part of a team with other professionals at the health center in, for example, lifestyle-related diagnoses. Education for the health center's staff and cooperation with child health care is included in the assignment as well as collaboration with staff in municipal home care regarding patients with nutrition problems. Your Competence We are looking for someone who is a registered dietitian, preferably with experience in primary care work. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement, both spoken and written. You should have an interest in working with the whole picture around the patient together with other professions, where you represent nutritional knowledge. You are organized and self-directed, and have good collaboration skills. Digital technology for communication is used frequently in, for example, video consultations, which means you need to have an interest in this and a willingness to learn something new if you are unfamiliar with it. Since business travel may occur, a B-class driving license is desirable. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and flexibility. Employment Type Permanent employment or by agreement with start date by agreement. Information About the Position is Provided by Unit Manager Primary Care Åsa Wiberg, 072-084 24 26, [email protected] Trade Union Representative Ida Myrbäck, 016-10 54 24, [email protected] Other trade union representatives can be found via the contact center, 0155-24 50 00.
