About Us
The Department of Internal Medicine is the largest clinic in the region, with operations in nephrology, general internal medicine including acute care at the emergency department and AVA, cardiology, geriatrics, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, SSIH/palliative care, and neurology/stroke. The neurology/stroke section provides assessment, care, and treatment at our neurology outpatient clinic and stroke ward. The section is staffed by experienced specialist physicians, newly certified specialists, and resident physicians at various stages of their specialist training. We are now seeking another resident physician who wants to be part of the continued development of our operations. We are an ambitious team that enjoys sharing our knowledge and prioritizes good supervision. We are looking for someone with team spirit who wants varied work at a clinic and hospital that offers all the advantages of a medium-sized hospital—both breadth and specialty expertise. Your Responsibilities
Standard duties as a resident physician. These include outpatient work at the neurology clinic and inpatient care on the stroke ward. We work in teams around most diagnostic groups within neurology/stroke. As part of a rotation in internal medicine, you will also work at our emergency department. The section's specialist physicians staff a neurology consultation function during weekdays, and a stroke thrombolysis on-call service is available 24/7 as a backup on-call line from home. Your Qualifications
Licensed physician with an interest in neurology. We also see that you have good communication skills in contact with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Swedish language skills according to the EU self-assessment scale level C1. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
