SVA Teacher with Focus on Language, Health, and Working Life

Do you want to be part of creating real change for people who are far from employment and education? At Talenti, we work closely with individuals, goal-oriented and with a focus on the whole person's situation. We meet participants where they are and gradually build up their abilities, motivation, and confidence in their own development. We are now seeking an engaged and relationship-building teacher for the Language and Health initiative. In this role, you will work with participants who often have a longer path to employment or further education. Many have studied Swedish for a long time without achieving the progress they desired, or have taken breaks from their studies. At the same time, there are often diffuse health challenges that affect both study ability and work capacity. Therefore, the work is based on a holistic perspective where language, health, and motivation are integrated. The work involves making the current situation and possible next steps visible together with the participant. Through structured work with individual action plans, sub-goals, and continuous follow-up, you contribute to the participant strengthening their self-awareness and gradually moving closer to the job market or further education. The teaching is practice-oriented and connects to everyday life, social issues, health, and working life. We are looking for you who is not only a skilled educator but also a positive force in the team. You contribute energy, commitment, and work joy, and have a natural ability to inspire both participants and colleagues. You see possibilities, create a good atmosphere around you, and want to help build a trustful and developmental work environment. Work Tasks Plan and conduct teaching based on participants' needs and circumstances. Work with individual action plans and goal-oriented management. Integrate language, health, and motivation in teaching. Work with labor market and civics knowledge in Swedish. Plan and conduct study visits and industry orientation. Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders. Qualifications Teacher certification with qualification in SVA (Swedish for Adults) SVA at least 30 credits Experience of adult education or similar target groups is advantageous Interest in working at the intersection of language, health, and working life Good digital skills and comfort using AI tools Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are a positive and engaging person who spreads energy and contributes to a good work environment. You have an easy time building relationships and meet both participants and colleagues with respect, warmth, and clarity. You are structured and persistent in your work, while also being flexible and solution-focused. You have the ability to motivate others, even in challenging situations, and are driven by seeing people develop at their own pace. Contribute actively to good team spirit. Are enthusiastic and inspiring. Have an inclusive and unpretentious approach. See collaboration as a natural part of the task. We Offer Meaningful work where you make a difference. An engaged team and close collaboration. A workplace where we value work joy and support each other. An organization in development. Collective agreements and good terms. Employment Terms Substitute position until December 2026. There are good opportunities for extension in the role. Extent 50–100% Start date by agreement Application Welcome to submit your application by June 25. Selections are made on an ongoing basis.
