Our industrial team in Gothenburg continues to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced automation engineer who wants to strengthen our offerings in electrical systems, automation, and instrumentation. You will be part of a multidisciplinary environment where we work closely with our customers and collaborate with specialists in project management, process engineering, mechanical engineering, piping design, and machine safety. Together, we develop solutions that create value in industrial operations. ABOUT THE JOB As a senior automation engineer with us, you will have a central role in assignments spanning from initial feasibility studies to commissioned and optimized facilities. We work with industrial customers both locally and nationally, giving you the opportunity to contribute to projects with varying scope, technology, and complexity. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and other technical disciplines to develop robust and efficient automation solutions. The role involves significant responsibility while giving you access to a broad network of expertise within Rejlers. In this role, you may, among other things: Conduct feasibility studies and technical investigations Work with systematization and development of automation solutions Program and configure PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems Participate in commissioning and optimization of facilities Perform troubleshooting and contribute to continuous improvements for the customer This role suits you if you want to continue developing technically while contributing your experience in projects where quality, collaboration, and customer value are in focus. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Relevant education in industrial automation or work experience deemed equivalent At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation Ability to independently work with commonly used PLC, SCADA, and HMI tools Good knowledge and experience with Siemens, Honeywell, or ABB Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written B-class driver's license Willingness and ability to work on-site at customer locations when needed It is advantageous if you have knowledge of ElproCAD or E-plan, experience from roles as an industrial electrician or technician, and experience with troubleshooting, commissioning, and work in complex industrial projects.
