We are now looking for a developer with a genuine GIS interest or a GIS specialist who enjoys coding to join ForestX, which develops advanced systems to streamline forestry operations. Apply today - we conduct ongoing selection! ABOUT THE ROLE: As a GIS Developer at ForestX, you will be part of a long-term development project with one of Sweden's largest forestry stakeholders. Together you will develop digital solutions that help the customer plan, analyze and manage forest land using GIS, satellite data and other geographical information. You will be part of a team of approximately ten people, where you work closely with systems developers and architects. In this role, you contribute with your GIS expertise and help develop solutions that handle large amounts of geodata related to, among other things, forest stands and forest planning. ForestX develops platforms and decision support systems that combine GIS, laser scanning, satellite data and advanced data models to create more sustainable and efficient forestry. At the same time, requirements for traceability and compliance with regulations are increasing, making GIS a central part of future digital solutions in the forestry industry. RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and further development of GIS solutions on the ESRI platform Configuration and implementation of ESRI products in complex system environments Close collaboration with developers and architects Contribute specialized knowledge in GIS architecture and technical decisions WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have experience with GIS tools and the surrounding ecosystem, for example ESRI, QGIS or similar Have experience in setting up and designing software platforms/systems in complex development projects We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
