Nerikes Brandkår is a municipal federation where Örebro, Kumla, Hallsberg, Lekeberg, Laxå, Askersund, Nora, Lindesberg, and Ljusnarsberg collaborate on rescue services and accident prevention activities. We are one of Sweden's largest rescue service federations with 28 fire stations, approximately 500 employees, and a service area covering about 260,000 residents. We are in an exciting period of expansion and development. The operational collaboration Räddningsregion Bergslagen started in 2020, and in November 2023, the joint command center Seglet was completed, where we collaborate with the Police and SOS Alarm. In early 2026, an additional fire station, Station Öster, was inaugurated in Örebro. The Public Safety Unit works to prevent accidents, primarily related to fire. This is done through collaboration with other authorities and organizations, conducting inspections according to LSO and LBE, and issuing permits according to LBE. The unit also handles chimney sweeping matters. In addition, the unit works with information and advisory services to the public in the area of fire safety. CE drivers wanted for new transport line in Örebro We are seeking 3–4 experienced and responsible CE drivers for a new transport line for refrigerated and frozen goods transport. The route will operate in two different directions, seven days a week, and around the clock. The work therefore involves varying working hours and may include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Since the transport line is new, the exact start times and working hours have not yet been determined. More information about the schedule will be provided as soon as planning is complete.
