JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking an Education Director/Assistant Principal responsible for operations at our school unit in Yngsjö. The Position: As Education Director, you will develop and lead operations together with your colleagues. You have personnel responsibility, work environment responsibility, and budget responsibility. The role also includes responsibility for reporting to relevant authorities. You will be part of Furuboda's management team and report to the Principal/Operations Manager. The position is based at the school unit in Yngsjö. The position is full-time (100%) on a permanent basis. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement. QUALIFICATIONS You as an applicant: We seek someone who enjoys leading, developing, and finding sustainable solutions. You have: Extensive experience in management within folk high schools, preferably principal training, pedagogical insight, and knowledge of the guidelines governing folk high school operations and conditions. You are well-grounded in the values of folk education and believe in the power of community that helps people grow. If you also have experience in school leadership within upper secondary schools, that is an asset, as is experience with activities for persons living with disabilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a payroll administrator with us, you'll have a varied and responsible role managing payroll administration for our employees. You'll be an important support function for both staff and managers, ensuring the payroll process runs securely, accurately, and efficiently. Your responsibilities include: · administering payroll from start to payment · managing timesheets, absences, vacation, and other payroll-related documentation · administering employment contracts and changes to employment terms · managing employer certificates, statistics, and reporting · liaising with authorities and other external parties · providing support and service to managers and employees on payroll and HR administration matters · contributing to the development and quality assurance of our processes and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications We're looking for someone with several years of experience in and/or training in payroll administration who is confident independently managing the entire payroll process. You are organized, detail-oriented, and have an eye for specifics, while also seeing the bigger picture and prioritizing when workload varies. You enjoy collaborating and communicating with different people and take pride in providing professional and helpful service. You're also experienced working digitally and have strong system skills. It's a merit if you have experience working in, for example, schools, nonprofit organizations, or other organizations with collective agreements. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
