Föreningen Furuboda operates a folk high school, upper secondary school, labor market training programs, HVB services, conference activities, and an assistance company. Operations are conducted at our main facility south of Åhus and at our branches in Kristianstad, Malmö, Lund, and Karlskrona. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking an Education Director/Assistant Principal responsible for operations at our school unit in Yngsjö. The Position: As Education Director, you will develop and lead operations together with your colleagues. You have personnel responsibility, work environment responsibility, and budget responsibility. The role also includes responsibility for reporting to relevant authorities. You will be part of Furuboda's management team and report to the Principal/Operations Manager. The position is based at the school unit in Yngsjö. The position is full-time (100%) on a permanent basis. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement. QUALIFICATIONS You as an applicant: We seek someone who enjoys leading, developing, and finding sustainable solutions. You have: Extensive experience in management within folk high schools, preferably principal training, pedagogical insight, and knowledge of the guidelines governing folk high school operations and conditions. You are well-grounded in the values of folk education and believe in the power of community that helps people grow. If you also have experience in school leadership within upper secondary schools, that is an asset, as is experience with activities for persons living with disabilities.
