We employ approximately 90 employees distributed across five departments – building permits, planning, geographic information, quality and development, and the municipality's cadastral office – all of whom contribute to developing Varberg for both today's and tomorrow's residents. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS You will handle cadastral surveys and participate in the ongoing detailed planning process. The work also includes property rights advisory services and customer service both within the municipality and to the public. The work is developmental and varied. You will have the opportunity to take on various types of cadastral surveys both within and outside detailed plans, as well as complex and more extensive matters such as facility, right-of-way and 3D surveys, as your competence allows. Work tasks such as surveying and map work can be adapted according to needs and interest. If you have very high competence and experience with complex property rights issues/matters, there are also great opportunities to take on an expert role at the office. You will be part of a work group with broad expertise that strives for high quality and good service and is a good team. The cadastral office currently has two survey administrators and 15 cadastral surveyors in service. You will take significant personal responsibility and work together with colleagues with different specialized expertise. QUALIFICATIONS You have at least 3 years of university education focused on cadastral surveying and property formation, are a lawyer with property rights competence, or have equivalent competence that is assessed as equivalent. Meriting for the position is at least 3 years of experience in survey handling. We place great emphasis on personal qualities, as the work involves many contacts with property owners, the public and colleagues. We want you to be independent, results-oriented and comfortable with varied work tasks and have an easy time creating trust and good relationships. The work tasks require the ability to manage a work process and make decisions. As a person, you are confident, thorough and analytical. You should be collaborative and have the willingness to share your knowledge. You have focus on the task, enjoy outward-facing work, and have good ability to communicate in Swedish both orally and in writing. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment.
