Teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language Grades 7–9 The Workplace Botkyrka's major school initiative, Eleonoraskolan, is the largest and most modern of its kind and an important part of the municipality's comprehensive school investment. Eleonoraskolan has a mathematical and natural science profile with a strong digital focus and an "After School" program that is open in the afternoons for all students. Job Duties We are now seeking an engaged and skilled teacher for grades 7–9 with certification in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. You are also certified in at least one additional subject, preferably mathematics or one of the natural sciences (NO). You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on the curriculum and educational directives. In your role, you actively work with language and knowledge development teaching methods and create instruction that challenges, motivates, and gives each student the opportunity to reach their full potential. Qualifications We are looking for someone who holds teacher certification with the authority to teach Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language for grades 7–9. You have a good ability to use and guide students in digital tools that support instruction and learning. You have experience integrating digital aids to strengthen student engagement and goal achievement and an interest in developing instruction with the help of AI and other modern digital tools in a pedagogically sound and responsible manner. You exercise clear pedagogical leadership in the classroom and actively work to create a safe, inclusive, and study-conducive learning environment. You have an active approach both inside and outside the classroom and help create a positive, safe, and developmental school environment. The Position and Your Responsibilities We at Falkbergsskolan in Tullinge are seeking you—a certified teacher with qualifications in science subjects, technology, and experience teaching grades 6-9. You will be part of one of the school's four work teams and teach all science subjects and technology to four classes within grades 6-9. In your role, you will conduct instruction in science and technology, along with associated tasks such as preparing and following up on lessons, and grading. You will be part of a work team and participate in the team's collaborative efforts. The Position and Tasks Tullinge Upper Secondary School is peacefully and beautifully located about fifteen minutes' walk from Södertörn University, halfway between Flemingsberg Station and Tullinge Station. We offer five national programs – Economics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, and Business – and have engaged students and teachers. We are now seeking a substitute teacher in natural sciences for the 2026/27 school year. The position involves one course, one lesson per week in the technology program. The assignment can be expanded upon interest as a hourly substitute in our substitute teacher pool.
