For the 2026/27 school year, we are seeking a qualified home and consumer studies teacher for our small school to teach grades 6-9. The position comprises just over 15% and is scheduled for one day per week (unless otherwise preferred). Do you also have qualifications in other subjects? About Us: -We are a small independent preschool, primary school, and after-school program with approximately 150 children/students in the building. -We have approximately 110 students distributed across grades Fk-9. -We are bilingual. Our activities are characterized by both Swedish and Finnish languages. -We are centrally located in Tumba, close to commuter trains and buses. About You: -You enjoy working with students of different ages, with different prerequisites and abilities. -You structure your work based on given frameworks, contexts, needs, and goals. And you are prepared for plans to need adjustments. -You recognize that your work encompasses both students' academic development and their social learning environment. -You take your own initiatives when appropriate and needed. -You see collaboration with your colleagues as a matter of course, preferably with a business development perspective. -You see all parts of the school (activities, students, and staff) as a whole. Where you are an important puzzle piece together with the rest of us. -It would be advantageous if you speak both Swedish and Finnish.
