We are now looking for an experienced Site Manager for our operations in Österlen/Tomelilla and surrounding areas. At Svevia, we combine the community and teamwork of a small company with the stability of a large enterprise. Here you have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist – with commitment, collaboration, and responsibility. Are you curious about Svevia as your next employer? Do you want to share the road with us? The Role of Site Manager We are now seeking an engaged site manager for road maintenance and infrastructure projects in Österlen, based in Tomelilla. Svevia Österlen is on the rise with a clear market positioning, and we are looking for a clear and driven leader who enjoys making good deals and creating a win-win feeling with both customers and employees. You will be offered the opportunity to develop Svevia in the region, both externally toward customers and internally regarding employees, working methods, and processes. Svevia is established in the region and is strong in operations but also works on infrastructure and utilities, and we want you on board! As a Site Manager with us, you will have the opportunity to shape and lead your team, while having the support of an experienced and strong organization behind you. We are looking for someone with the ability to build trust both internally and externally, drive profitable operations, and create sustainable teams. Here's what your typical day will look like in your role as Site Manager: · Ensure safety and environmental management on projects · Lead and develop your team · Build and maintain good customer relationships on ongoing projects · Drive operations' projects with clear business thinking and with order, organization, and quality toward the customer · Ensure that projects are delivered according to financial targets, including monthly follow-ups and forecasts · Ensure that documentation is correct and that quality meets contractual requirements and project goals · Lead and plan projects from tender to final accounting · Summer and winter on-call duty Are you ready for the next step in your career? We would love to tell you more about what Svevia can offer! Who Are You? To be successful in this role, we see that you have a couple of years of experience in similar roles where your leadership and business focus have made you successful. You have industry experience in operations and maintenance, and if you have also worked on smaller infrastructure projects or have examples of municipal road operations, this is seen as very advantageous. We would also like to see that you have competence and/or experience with utilities in infrastructure projects. Perhaps you come from a site supervisor or construction engineer role and want to take the next step – then this is exactly right for you! You are used to driving and bringing projects to completion, meeting customers, and reading contracts. You also have previous experience with project estimation and responsibility for economics and forecasts. You enjoy challenges and are great at problem-solving, planning, organization, and structure. We value developmental leadership where you as a leader bring out the best in your employees and contribute to building a strong and thriving team. We desire that you have values-based leadership and actively work to nurture a shared value foundation. Good communication skills in both writing and speech in Swedish and a class B driver's license are also important qualifications. Part of Something Larger Based on Svevia's strategies, goals, and values, you will have the conditions needed to make a difference and contribute to the company's development. Decision paths are short, it is easy to have an impact and make your voice heard. And with us, leadership is in focus, which means you continuously have the opportunity to develop in your role. And we mean it! We care about being a workplace for everyone. That you lead through your employees is something we take as a given. It is as a team that we create success. That is how we do business and generate results. That is how we make cities and communities function. Do you want to share the road with us?
