JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Salary Center administers salaries for all employees working in Tierp, Knivsta, and Älvkarleby municipalities as well as for all employees in TEMAB (Tierps Energi & Miljö AB). The Salary Center has 13 employees distributed among salary consultants, payroll administrators, development strategists, and systems administrators. As a salary consultant, you work in a team but also very independently with all steps in the salary process. An important part of the work is contributing to continuous improvements. Since the role involves many different contacts, it is a requirement that you can express yourself well in speech and writing. Good proficiency with the Office suite. As a person, you are a good analyst who is skilled at troubleshooting, seeing connections, and solving complex questions and problems. The work requires accuracy and high integrity. You are service-oriented, which means you are attentive and accommodating in your interactions, you have pedagogical ability and understanding for other people's different prerequisites for acquiring knowledge. You enjoy taking responsibility but also understand the importance of collaboration and the team succeeding with its task. You have a desire to influence and develop. We work to maintain strong customer focus and professional conduct. In the role of salary consultant at the Salary Center, it is important to be well-organized and able to prioritize your day correctly as the work is partly governed by different deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS Tierp Municipality is part of the Finnish administrative area. If you, in addition to our other competency requirements, also speak Finnish, it could be a merit.
