Group Accounting Specialist at Mio

Do you want to be part of preparing Mio for the stock market? We are looking for a Group Accounting Specialist! Mio is on an exciting growth and transformation journey. Now we are taking the next big step and preparing our organization for a future, potential stock market listing (IPO). To succeed with this, we are now building a robust and scalable group accounting function. We are looking for you who wants to play a key role in this work, set the framework, develop the processes and take Mio to the next level. About the role As a Group Accounting Specialist, you will step into a completely new, business-critical role at Mio's head office in Tibro. You work closely with – and become the right hand of – our Group Accounting Manager, Thomas. This is not a role where you just maintain; it is a role where you build and shape the way forward. Your main areas of responsibility: IPO readiness: Lead and drive sub-projects to ensure that the right procedures, controls and reporting models are in place for a future stock market listing. Group accounting: Support and relieve in the ongoing work of preparing group accounts. System development: Today we use the business system M3 and do group accounting in Excel. You will be a driving force in selecting, establishing and implementing our new group accounting system. Sustainability reporting: You are responsible for the finance department's work and development of sustainability reporting (ESG/CSRD). Requirements setter: Act as support to the legal entities and accounting manager to ensure the highest quality in reporting. Your profile We are looking for someone with solid experience in advanced accounting and regulations. The ideal profile is that you currently work at a larger company or a group with group accounting, preferably in a listed environment. Alternatively, you have a background from an audit firm where you have worked extensively with this type of company. It is highly meritorious to have some form of practical or theoretical knowledge of IFRS. Experience and practical application of system support for group accounting. Experience from retail is a plus, but not a requirement – the most important thing is your knowledge of the processes required to move the company forward. Who are you as a person?
