We are now seeking an accounting assistant for a temporary position in our accounting department. We are looking for someone who enjoys varied work tasks, likes structure and accuracy, and wants to be an important part of our accounting team. About the Role As an accounting assistant, you will work in the company's accounting function and contribute to ensuring that our financial processes run efficiently and correctly. The role includes both ongoing accounting work and administrative tasks, while also giving you the opportunity to contribute to the development of our working methods and procedures. You will become part of an engaged team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday work. Your main responsibilities will be: · Handling of supplier invoices and accounts payable as well as payments · Recording and review of financial documentation · Ongoing bookkeeping and account reconciliations · Support to the accounting department during monthly and annual closing · Administrative tasks related to the accounting function · Participation in improvement and development work within the accounting department This position is a 6-month full-time temporary role, with the possibility of extension. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who has education in accounting, for example from a vocational college, university college, or university. You may be early in your career or have a few years of experience with basic accounting work. WORK DUTIES As an hourly substitute, you will work in our schools as needed, and you may be part of different work teams. You work to support children's development and learning and engage in pedagogical work according to the curriculum. It is important that you are adaptable as it requires that you can step in and work with short notice. We expect you to work from a holistic perspective on the student and that you have respect for each student's needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is 18 years or older and who is passionate about working with children. Relevant education and/or experience in the field is a merit. An important quality is that you are easy to collaborate with and have the ability to see what needs to be done. You must have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have a driver's license and access to a car as we have preschools in our three town centers: Virsbo, Ramnäs, and Surahammar.
