BI Analyst at DEKRA Sweden We are now looking for a BI Analyst who wants to be part of developing reports, data models and analyses that help managers and business units make better decisions. The role is under development, which gives you a unique opportunity to set direction, develop working methods and shape how the BI function evolves forward. Maybe you are exactly who we are looking for? ABOUT THE ROLE DEKRA Sweden is building a company-wide BI function that will strengthen our ability to work more data-driven. As part of this, we are establishing a data warehouse in Microsoft Fabric where data from several different systems are collected, structured and made available for reporting, analysis and monitoring. In your role as BI Analyst, you will have an important role in transforming data into clear reports, usable insights and reliable decision-making materials. You will primarily work on developing reports, dashboards, semantic models and analyses in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The role is business-focused and involves collaborating with the BI team and parts of the business to understand prioritized needs and translate them into solutions that work in practice. An initial focus area is reporting of results from a financial perspective. Over time, the role will also include reporting and analysis within, for example, production, personnel and other business-critical processes. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As a BI Analyst with us, you will, among other things: develop reports and dashboards in Power BI build, further develop, quality assure and optimize semantic models create and further develop measures, key performance indicators and visualizations contribute to structure, logic and usability in data models in Microsoft Fabric use SQL to understand, retrieve, transform and validate data use DAX to create and further develop calculations and measures analyze data and identify patterns, deviations and insights contribute to ensuring that reports are reliable, understandable and easy to maintain over time collaborate closely with the BI team and the business on prioritized reporting needs WHO ARE YOU? Do you want to help create better decision-making materials and concrete value through data? Then you have found the right place. We are looking for someone with a few years of relevant experience in BI, data analysis, report development or similar work. You have practical experience building reports and data models in a business-focused context and thrive in the intersection of technology, analysis and business value. We want you to have: good experience with Power BI experience with or good understanding of Microsoft Fabric experience building/optimizing semantic models practical experience with SQL familiarity with DAX and the ability to create or further develop measures understanding of data quality, relationships, key performance indicators and reporting logic the ability to transform data into clear reports and analyses experience collaborating with both technical colleagues and business representatives For this role, you need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. It is a merit if you have experience in financial reporting, controlling or results reporting. It is also positive if you have worked with reporting in production, personnel or operational monitoring, or been part of an organization building or modernizing its BI function. As a person, you are analytical, thorough and curious. You like to understand relationships, create structure and visualize data in a way that makes information easier to use. You are self-driven and take responsibility, but also appreciate close collaboration with others. The National Board of Health and Welfare plays a central role in supporting the evolution toward high-quality care, services, and dental care through analyses. Would you like to work on making complex matters comprehensible? The Unit for Epidemiology and Quantitative Analyses conducts descriptive, in-depth analyses and epidemiological studies of prioritized areas. We work with quantitative register analyses, forecasts, and indicator-based evaluations, among other things. The unit also provides methodological support to other departments and units and applies various types of statistical analysis methods within the agency's areas of activity. We are now seeking an experienced biostatistician with current expertise in statistics who wants to work on analytical and statistical assignments. You will independently serve as an internal consultant on matters relating to statistics, statistical methodology, and epidemiology.
