Personal Assistant – For Those Who See Possibilities Beyond Limitations

Lukas is almost 11 years old and lives in Säter with his family. He's a cheerful and charming boy with multiple functional support needs. He requires significant support in his daily life, but above all, he needs people around him who see him for who he is – who see the possibilities beyond the limitations and who believe in him and his abilities. We are now looking for a personal assistant who wants to become an important person in Lukas's life and help create a safe, fun, and meaningful everyday routine. A typical afternoon with Lukas You pick up Lukas from school and respond to his daily condition and needs. Some days you might take a walk, explore nature, or do an activity in the local area. Other days it might be better to have a calm time at home with play, sensory stimulation, or relaxation. Lukas communicates in several different ways. Therefore, it's important that you are curious, grounded, and attentive, and willing to get to know his expressions to understand what he wants to communicate. You have the ability to let go of what's happening around you and truly be here and now with Lukas. About the role Lukas needs support in all aspects of his daily life, including: • Mobility assistance • Personal care and hygiene • Tube feeding • Inhalations when needed • Exercise and massage • Sensory stimulation • Play, activities, and rest No two days are exactly alike. You follow Lukas's needs, signals, and daily condition and help him have the best days possible. Previous experience is not required. We'll provide you with the introduction and training you need to feel confident in the role. Work hours The position is primarily scheduled for weekdays approximately 13:15–18:00, with some flexibility. Occasional weekend shifts may occur. In the future, activities such as horseback riding, swimming, and various outings may also become part of the routine. Who are you?
