About the position
Within the scope of your employment at the Resource Unit, you will work within several different LSS activities, and you may also move between different activities during the same work shift. The work is varied and includes both pedagogical and practical elements. As a support assistant, you work closely with our service users and provide important support in their daily lives. You base your work tasks on each person's implementation plan, which ensures that support is designed in the way that best benefits the service user's needs and wishes.
The position is full-time and involves daytime work, evening work, and every other weekend. A trial period may apply to this position.
Before employment, you will need to provide a certificate from the criminal record register.
Your work tasks include:
Supporting service users in their daily lives based on individual implementation plans.
Creating a meaningful, active, and stimulating everyday.
Working with both pedagogical and practical measures.
Adapting your approach and working methods according to the individual's needs.
Working closely with colleagues and contributing to a good work environment.
Sharing your experiences and knowledge in an unpretentious and humble manner.
Contributing to the development and improvement of the activity.
What we offer:
We offer a wellness allowance of 5000 kr for full-time employment for 2026.
About you
For this position, you need:
Relevant education, such as the Children and Leisure Program, Care and Health Program with a focus on social work/disability, or nursing assistant education with a focus on the disability field.
Good knowledge of social documentation.
Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
Knowledge and experience with AAC and clarifying pedagogy.
Good IT skills.
Driver's license and driving experience.
It is meritorious if you also have:
Post-secondary education with specialization in children and adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
Good experience with low-affect handling and awareness of self-knowledge in interactions with people requiring special care.
Knowledge of the functional perspective.
Knowledge of IBIC.
Experience combining work in multiple activities simultaneously.
You are flexible, good at collaboration, and actively contribute to a good work environment, which makes you successful in your role with us and an appreciated colleague. About us
Within our operational area of Support and Assistance, we offer group and service housing for adults, children's and youth housing, short-term housing, leisure activities, and several different types of day activities. We also work in the area of personal assistance, as well as companionship and respite care within LSS.
The Resource Unit functions as an internal support function that ensures staffing for acute absences within the operational area. As an employee of the Resource Unit, you have a permanent base in the activity you are assigned to, and you will be placed within a specified area as needed.
We are part of Tiohundra – the complete healthcare company in Roslagen.
