About the operation: As one of our employees is going on parental leave and another employee is changing roles within the team, we are now seeking two social workers—one permanent position and one fixed-term position. The Child and Family Unit consists of committed employees, most of whom have many years of experience working with the target group. We have close management support, share responsibility, and help each other across team boundaries. The vision for the Child and Family Unit is to become the best at collaboration and to increase knowledge about social services work among municipal residents and partner organizations. The unit works largely based on the Signs of Safety approach, and in the fall, implementation of the iRisk model will begin. We are also affiliated with Yrkesresan. The child team consists of nine social workers who investigate children aged 0-12, one social worker for placed children, two specialist social workers, and one social administrator. The team enjoys working together, helps each other, and supports one another, which is also regularly noted in the results of the annual employee survey. The team has a strong commitment to children's rights issues and actively works with various targeted activities that contribute to the unit's development. As part of valuing balance between work and leisure, we offer the possibility of some remote work. On Mondays, we are open until 18:30, which means we finish at 15:00 on Fridays. The day before a public holiday is a half day, and we have low basic staffing during peak days.
