You who are applying should naturally share our common values. About the Operations We are now looking for a unit manager for our three service residences in Vallentuna. Our service residences are part of the Functional Support LSS operations area within the social services administration. We place great emphasis on a pedagogical approach, and within the unit there is a coordinator who has pedagogical responsibility but also provides administrative support to you as manager. As unit manager for our three service residences, Sörgården, Gullvivan, and Åby Ängar, you will manage approximately 40 customers and 22 employees together. You lead with direction and courage, create conditions for employees to succeed, and drive development together with engaged colleagues. As unit manager, you report to the Operations Manager for Functional Support LSS, which is organized within the social services administration and is part of the operation's management team. For us, it is important that as a unit manager you want to be active and present in the operations. This is a prerequisite for you to be able to nurture and develop relationships with employees, residents, relatives, and authorities. By being present in the operations, you can also ensure that the municipality's values, the pedagogical framework, and applicable legislation are followed in your operations. You both want and have the ability to manage and follow up the operations based on our goals and financial frameworks. You have budget and results responsibility and report to the Operations Manager and participate in their management team. Qualifications We are looking for you who have Completed higher education as a social worker or nurse or education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience from management positions within care and social services. Good knowledge of relevant legislation, primarily LSS and the Social Services Act (SoL). You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious Experience in a management position within care and social services with responsibility for personnel, work environment, and budget. Experience working in LSS operations. Experience working in a politically governed organization. Personal Qualities You ensure that employees, processes, and resources are organized to achieve goals as efficiently as possible. The positions are permanent on-site and full-time with a start date by agreement. We apply individual salary setting and probation may be applied.
