As an Environmental Affairs Officer in the Swedish Armed Forces, you will be an important part of a successful team in a rapidly growing authority. About the Unit The garrison unit supports the regiment's production of combat units. With combat units at the center, the unit provides support within a wide range of functional areas such as training and shooting ranges, environment, electrical safety, training support, facilities, IT, and defense medicine. The unit has an established environmental function with three positions that will expand with the Swedish Armed Forces' growth. Main Responsibilities As an Environmental Affairs Officer at the regiment, you will handle notification and permit matters related to the regiment's operations. You will conduct investigations within the environmental field to provide qualified decision support to the responsible commander. You will also support the Environmental Manager with, for example, physical planning matters and infrastructure issues where you contribute with both legal knowledge and expertise. We are seeking an officer to serve as chief of the Operations Section at the Logistics Unit. About the Unit The Logistics Unit Revingehed leads planning, execution and follow-up of logistics and support operations for combat units, schools, staffs and other organizational units within the Swedish Armed Forces. We ensure that the combat and training organization has access to water, food, fuel, ammunition, vehicles and materiel to conduct operations in peace, crisis and war. The Logistics Unit includes, among other things, Staff, Technical Department, Supply Department and Mobilization Department. The Logistics Unit is also responsible for national support to our units in Latvia (NSE). The Operations Section in the staff plans, leads and follows up on tasks and processes that the logistics unit is to execute. The staff is led by the chief of staff and is divided into an operations section and a planning section.
