We are responsible for developing and deploying automation solutions for our industrial customers and now need to strengthen our team with a confident and knowledgeable colleague. At AFRY, you will have varied tasks within industrial automation. In this role, you will work with engineering and programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and robot applications. You will also participate in deployment and troubleshooting of these systems, both on-site at customer locations and in project form from the office. A typical work week can include everything from bid preparation and technical solution development to teamwork on projects or urgent troubleshooting at customer sites. In some cases, you may also be assigned to a customer to strengthen their organization. Job Description As an Experienced Robotics Programmer, you will play a key role in developing advanced automation solutions for industrial facilities. You are responsible for creating efficient, safe, and reliable robot applications that meet customer needs. The role is technically challenging and varied, with tasks spanning the entire project lifecycle. Your main areas of responsibility: Design and programming of robot applications for various industrial processes Integration with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to ensure a complete automation solution Commissioning and optimization of robot cells and associated control systems Troubleshooting and problem-solving for technical challenges, both during project phases and in customer support Ensuring that solutions meet high requirements for functionality, quality, and safety Examples of work tasks during a typical week: Participate in bid work by developing technical solutions and calculations for customer facilities Work in project teams at the office with design, programming, and testing of robot applications Perform troubleshooting at customer sites to quickly address operational issues and minimize production downtime Be assigned to a customer to strengthen their organization and contribute your expertise The role offers freedom to develop based on your interests.
