Nora Library is centrally located in Nora and is part of Nora Culture House, which also includes an art gallery and cultural school. The library is well-visited and highly appreciated. The library has six employees and is open with staff 38 hours per week, plus extended hours every day from 8–22. The operations also include a library bus that provides services to the municipality's preschools and the general public. The library staff work together to create a welcoming library with an attractive range of activities. Nora Library collaborates in Bergslagbibblan, which includes nine municipalities in Örebro County.

DUTIES
Nora Library is seeking a substitute librarian specializing in children and youth services during the regular staff's parental leave. Your assignment involves working collaboratively with other staff to promote reading among children and youth. This includes inviting school classes for reading inspiration and library orientation. Together with two colleagues, you are responsible for operating our library bus, visiting the municipality's preschools. You will collaborate with other colleagues on the library's programming for children and youth. Processing incoming children's and youth materials is part of your responsibilities. You will be included in the library's scheduled shifts, including Saturday service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in library and information science, librarian degree, or education that the employer considers equivalent.
Strong ability to express yourself orally and in writing. Experience working with children and youth is a merit.
