We are now looking for a dedicated nursing assistant or care attendant who wants to be part of our fantastic team. With us, you will meet a work group characterized by community, joy of work, and a genuine commitment to our elderly residents' well-being.
Work Tasks
Home care services provide qualified care work to residents who have been granted assistance under the Social Services Act (SOL). We provide services 24/7, every day of the year, to people who need support with care work. You will be part of a competent work group consisting of both nursing assistants and care attendants who operate in the northern parts of the municipality, Myrviken-Oviken and Hackås.
As part of our work team, you are responsible for planning and performing qualified care work in the individual's own home in consultation with colleagues and unit manager. Our work is based on the individual's needs and wishes, where dialogue and collaboration are important tools for achieving care of high quality. By working with us, you contribute to creating an environment for the individual that is characterized by community, togetherness, participation, and activity.
The work tasks consist of helping people with, for example: social interaction, hygiene, dressing and cleaning, and supporting during meals. The services you provide are based on respect for people's self-determination and integrity and are provided on equal terms. The goal is to make it possible for the elderly to continue living in their own home as long as they wish, with a sense of security and quality. Work tasks delegated by licensed healthcare personnel will also occur. The work tasks also include documentation and contact with relatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant or who have previous experience working as a care attendant. The work requires flexibility and independence in your daily work, where communication and documentation are important tools in the work. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Driver's license for personal car (category B) is required.
Furthermore, we see it as desirable that you have previous experience from work in home care and/or healthcare. Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality and we therefore see it as a merit if you have knowledge of South Sámi language and culture.

Bergs Municipality applies HÖK/AB (general terms) to the position. We apply individual salary setting. For this position, the current starting salary range is 23,700 – 30,600 kr per month, depending on your previous experience and qualifications. Upon offer of employment, excerpts from the criminal records register and suspicion register will need to be presented.
