Then you might be the person we're looking for! We're now seeking a nursing assistant with a B-class driver's license for Björketorp Home Care. Björketorp Home Care is part of Western Marks Home Care, which consists of three home care groups: Björketorp, Sätila, and Hyssna. We work closely together and coordinate our services to provide safe, high-quality, and flexible care for our clients. Your primary placement will be in Björketorp, but work within other parts of the Western Marks area may occur based on operational needs. As a nursing assistant in home care, you may work with: • Provide personal care and practical support in the client's home. • Support and motivate clients to maintain their abilities and independence. Services are provided based on assistance needs and can range from personal care, meal support, support with social activities, to collaboration with family members. • Perform delegated health and medical care tasks. • Be a designated care contact and plan, implement, document, and follow up on care services. • Collaborate with colleagues, nurses, rehabilitation staff, family members, and other professionals to create safe and person-centered care. We work according to the Social Services Act and national core values with a focus on the individual's needs. The work involves providing social care based on a health-promoting approach, which includes utilizing the individual's resources and focusing on what is healthy in each client. Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, and holiday service. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and have a genuine interest in working with people. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional and respectful demeanor. You work independently, take responsibility, and also work well with colleagues. You are flexible and can adapt to changing needs and conditions while contributing to a positive work environment and good collaboration within the entire Western Marks team. For this position, you must: • Be trained as a nursing assistant. • Have a valid B-class driver's license. • Have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. • Have good computer skills and feel comfortable with digital documentation. • It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in home care or other elderly care. Western Mark is divided into 3 home care groups - Sätila, Hyssna, and Björketorp. You will primarily work in Sätila and Hyssna home care but may also work in Björketorp home care as we coordinate our services. In our cluster, we work together to create the best for our clients with the individual's needs at the center. As a care assistant/nursing assistant in home care services, you will: • Work closely with the individual and provide support for them in their daily life. • Perform care and support work in the homes of individuals. • Motivate and stimulate individuals based on their individual circumstances, needs, and wishes. Services are granted based on needs assessments and can vary from personal care, support with meals, assistance with social activities, and collaboration with family members. • Serve as a care contact and plan, carry out, document, and follow up care work with the person who needs support and assistance. • Perform certain delegated health and medical care tasks. We work based on the Social Services Act and the national values framework with focus on the individual's needs. The work involves providing social care and support from a health-promoting approach, which includes taking advantage of the individual's resources and looking at the healthy aspects of each care recipient. In Marks Municipality, we use flexible placement, which means you should be positive about working at other units if the need arises. Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend service. QUALIFICATIONS You who apply must have previous experience with care and support work in elderly care. It is advantageous if you are a trained nursing assistant and have previous experience working in home care services, but this is not required for the position, though it will be prioritized. We require a driver's license as the services cover a large geographic area and we collaborate with nearby services based on flexible placement. We are looking for someone who: • Has a positive outlook and is both professional and confident in your professional role. • Has strong commitment and interest in the target group and the ability to interact with people in a professional manner. • Is calm and clear in your communication, is attentive, and can motivate clients to maintain their abilities and independence. • Adapts easily to changes and new information and to your way of working accordingly. You can work independently, make your own decisions, and plan and reprioritize work when needed. You have the ability to step back and see the broader needs of the entire operation. • Can identify your own areas for development and take responsibility for acquiring new knowledge. • Have good computer skills as documentation is an important part of our work. You must be able to communicate and express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish.
