As an operations technician, you work with operations, monitoring, preventive maintenance, and development of our water facilities throughout Hässleholm municipality. You follow the facilities' processes and work both preventively and problem-solving to ensure continuous operations. Your role and responsibilities In your work you will, among other things: monitor processes and track facility operations perform monitoring and sampling troubleshoot and handle problems that arise in operations work with preventive maintenance contribute to development and improvement of our facilities You become part of our operations unit and together with other operations technicians, work leaders, lab and process engineers, and a KMA administrator, you work for stable and safe operations every day. Your primary area of responsibility is our water operations, but when needed you also support your colleagues at our wastewater treatment facilities. Despite community and collaboration, the role also entails significant independent responsibility and parts of your workday you work independently at our facilities. You take responsibility for your tasks and respond when you notice that something is not working as it should. You are also proactive and enjoy solving problems. When something happens in operations you try to understand the cause, find a way forward, and seek help when the situation requires it. At the same time, you are a team player. Maintenance Supervisor at the Heat Plant
Do you have maintenance expertise and enjoy making things work together with others? We're now seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Heat Plant in Hässleholm. With us, you'll lead daily maintenance work and help develop working methods, supported by technically skilled colleagues and our leadership program. Your Role and Responsibilities As a Maintenance Supervisor, you coordinate daily maintenance operations. You plan and delegate tasks, allocate resources, and follow up to ensure work is completed. When unexpected issues arise, you help prioritize and find solutions while keeping preventive maintenance on track. This is a new position as part of developing our maintenance operations. Together with the unit manager and your colleagues, you'll help shape routines and working methods that function in everyday practice. Your practical experience will be valuable—both for identifying what needs improvement and for turning ideas into action. You work closely with our maintenance engineer, electrical engineer, and automation engineer and maintain ongoing contact with colleagues in operations, production, and distribution. You also coordinate external contractors' work and report to the maintenance unit manager. Your responsibilities include: planning, leading, and following up on preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance monitoring work orders, time expenditure, and costs while ensuring materials, spare parts, and tools are available participating in troubleshooting, investigating recurring errors, and contributing to lasting improvements contributing to risk assessments and planning maintenance shutdowns and projects ensuring work is performed safely and according to our procedures, and serving as the permit supervisor for hot work supporting colleagues in daily work and contributing to training, documentation, and development of our working methods What We Offer You With us, you'll combine technical expertise, problem-solving, and leadership in an operation that's needed every day. Who You Are You have several years of practical maintenance experience in a technical facility environment and want to use your expertise to lead and develop daily operations. When circumstances change, you can reassess, and when different needs conflict, you're confident in making a well-considered prioritization and raising questions that need your manager's decision. Collaboration is an important part of this role. You listen to others' expertise, share your own knowledge, and get people working together. You're also curious about why errors occur and see the connection between today's efforts and the facility's long-term performance. You have: Technical education or equivalent training and experience Several years of practical maintenance experience in a technical facility environment Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, and good basic understanding of English in speech and writing Class B driver's license It's a merit if you have experience with preventive maintenance and condition-based maintenance, as well as experience with maintenance systems such as SAP, Maintmaster, or similar. It's also a merit if you've previously held a supervisory role or coordination responsibility, or have knowledge of occupational health and risk management. Terms and Application This is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. Your workplace is the Heat Plant in Hässleholm, and working hours are weekdays 07:00–16:00.
