Ramen Chef Needed for Newly Opening Restaurant

About Us We are opening a modern ramen restaurant focused on authentic flavors, craftsmanship, and high quality. With us, the experience is paramount – from broth and noodles to toppings and service. We are building a kitchen team with ambitions, where you'll get to help develop both work routines and our menu. About the Position We are now seeking a chef with experience in ramen or Japanese cuisine to strengthen our kitchen team before and after opening. You will work with everything from preparations and mise en place to service, with a special focus on ramen components such as broth, tare, oils, and toppings. Your responsibilities include: Preparing ramen and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and quality standards Preparations: broth cooking, tare, oils, meat/toppings, vegetables, etc. Mise en place and efficient management during service Raw ingredient handling, quality assurance, and waste control Maintaining order, hygiene, and routines according to self-inspection standards Contributing ideas and improvements to the menu and work methods What We're Looking For: Experience as a chef (preferably Japanese cuisine/ramen, but not a requirement if you're the right person) Fast, structured, and meticulous Comfortable working at a high pace and taking responsibility for your station Good collaboration skills and a positive attitude FluentIn Swedish or English What We Offer: A secure position in a restaurant opening with high ambitions The opportunity to be part of the start and influence the setup and menu Great team spirit and an organized kitchen Salary by agreement Full-time (part-time can be discussed for the right person) 📍 Workplace: (Brandbergen) 📅 Start Date: by agreement Application: Send a short presentation + CV to [email protected].
