The Technical Department in Borgholms kommun covers streets and parks, harbors, facility maintenance, catering, and property management as well as bath and leisure facilities. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis. Right now we are looking for you to work as a lifeguard/bath attendant at Borgholms badhus and/or Åkerbobadet. 2 position(s). WORK TASKS The work tasks include common tasks in a bath and training facility such as lifeguarding, swimming instruction, cashier/reception work, and facility maintenance. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the safety and well-being of customers. We use rotating shifts, which means that all tasks are part of your responsibilities. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS You are at least 18 years old and have completed upper secondary education. You must have basic computer skills, be fluent in Swedish, and have the ability to adapt your communication based on the person and situation. Swimming ability is a requirement, and we conduct tests in swimming and lifesaving which include 200 meters of swimming, of which 50 meters backstroke, followed by the ability to tow a dummy or person 25 meters in the water. You must achieve a passing result on these tests to be considered for the position. It is a merit if you are trained as a swimming instructor/instructor. Other language skills, current CPR certification, experience leading baby swim, water aerobics and/or other group training, cleaning and maintaining the bath facility environment, working with children and youth, and being or having been active in a sports association can be meriting.
