Personal Assistant Needed for a Safe and Warm Support Team

About the Position I am a 31-year-old man seeking a new personal assistant to join my wonderful support team. I have autism and a developmental disability and need support with many aspects of my daily life. Most importantly to me is that you are a calm, reliable, and considerate person, and that you view this as a long-term job so we can build a stable and trusting relationship. I find it difficult to welcome new people into my life, so continuity is very important to me. I attend a day program two days a week, and you will accompany me as my assistant. Your responsibilities include motivating me to start, complete, and finish activities, as well as being structured and supportive in daily life. I am a kind and considerate person who needs to be treated with respect, clarity, and kindness. I enjoy being outdoors and take long walks every day, sometimes several times a day, so you need to be in good physical condition. Humor is also important to me – people who laugh easily and can be warm and relaxed help me feel good. My energy varies from day to day. Some days I have more energy, other days less. Therefore, you need to appreciate a calm and steady pace during certain periods and understand that flexibility is part of the job. I have a strong interest in video games, movies, books, and role-playing games. If you have knowledge of role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons, that is viewed very positively. I am looking for you to: Have experience in personal assistance or other support roles Have knowledge of autism and understand the importance of adapted interaction Be able to take both verbal and written instructions and carry them out Be proactive yet respectful of my pace and routines Be clear, structured, and solution-focused Be kind, considerate, and have a genuine commitment to helping others Be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as I have difficulty understanding unclear speech Be a non-smoker, as I am very sensitive to smoke Work Schedule: 24-hour shifts with overnight on-call duty Scope 80-95% I look forward to receiving your application!
