Music Educator - Piano and Voice

The Culture School in Bjuv consists of a creative and engaged team of approximately 8-10 educators. In addition to music, we offer art and dance. Other activities include library, art gallery, cultural heritage, and work with culture in schools and general cultural activities. The Culture School is a visible actor in the municipality's cultural life. 2 position(s). DUTIES About the Position We are seeking a flexible and engaged music educator for the upcoming school year. The position comprises a total of 60% and consists of two parts. You can apply for a combined assignment or apply for only one of the parts. Piano is an already established program where continuity is important for the students. We are seeking a confident and engaged piano educator who can take over a functioning group of students. Voice is a new subject at our culture school. Here you have the opportunity to help build the culture school's initiative in individual voice instruction. 40% Piano: A substitute position for an existing role. 20% Voice: New subject. Your Responsibilities Piano Instruction (40%): You will substitute for one of our regular teachers and provide individual instruction for children and young people. You meet students at different levels and support them in their musical development. Voice Project (20%): You drive and shape the culture school's new initiative. We will start individual voice instruction. This includes pedagogical work, planning, and implementation of project goals. Collaboration and Concerts: You plan and conduct concerts, performances, and closing events, usually together with colleagues at the culture school. You become part of an engaged team at the culture school where collaboration and concerts are a natural part of the activities. You provide accompaniment on piano during orchestra instruction once per week. Who Are You?
