About the role As a childcare assistant in the substitute pool, you are an important part of the operation and contribute to creating a safe, fun and developing day for the children. You replace regular staff during absences and work where the need is greatest within the preschool's activities. You have a basic schedule to work from, but working hours and placement may change based on the operation's needs. Therefore, you need to be flexible and adapt well to new work teams, departments and work situations. In the substitute pool role, you are expected to independently plan and structure your work when needs arise in other departments. You need to quickly be able to get an overview of the operation, prioritize work tasks and adapt to new work environments to contribute to safety, continuity and quality for both children and colleagues. Förskolan Triangeln is part of the North preschool area and has four departments. Two departments for ages 1–3 and two for ages 3–6, where trained preschool teachers and child care assistants work. The departments with older children collaborate to some extent with each other through cross-group activities one day a week. The preschool is located in the middle of Fors and has a varied outdoor yard with forest, grassy areas, asphalt, and access to both structured and unstructured materials. 1 position(s). Description of Duties As a child care assistant at Förskolan Triangeln, you participate in ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with our governing documents. You will work to ensure that the education provides each child with the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. This means you will plan, implement, follow up, evaluate, and document the preschool's activities. Certain responsibility regarding a child with diabetes may be added, though main responsibility currently lies with other colleagues. You are present and actively play with the children. Within the administration are IFO, LSS services, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care and special residences. As a temporary caregiver, you are employed by the Staffing Unit but work within the Care Administration's operations where there is the greatest need for temporary staff. You will first be introduced at one workplace, but if needed and desired, there is the possibility to work at multiple workplaces. We use the staffing system Time Care Pool where you as a temporary employee make yourself available for work.
