The Social Services Department of Askersund Municipality is responsible for elderly care, LSS and care services, social psychiatry, services for unaccompanied refugee children, and individual and family care. 4 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are now seeking temporary workers with a genuine interest in working with people in our Healthcare and Support Services operations. In all our operations, your main task is to help others feel good. You do this through social activities, providing support with daily tasks, and care. You'll receive a lot of appreciation in return—a feeling that makes you feel good! Common work duties: • Provide personal care and support based on individual needs. • Work independently and take responsibility for your assignments. • Document in implementation plans and activity systems. • Collaborate in teams and with other professionals. • Work in a person-centered and rehabilitative manner. • Perform health and medical care tasks according to prescriptions and delegation. We will hire based on the needs of the operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is confident and committed—a nursing assistant or healthcare worker with drive and ambition who wants to help provide users with a secure daily life. We would like to see that you: • Are 18 years or older. • Are a trained healthcare worker or nursing assistant, or have relevant experience (meritable). • Have a genuine interest in working with people and a desire to make a difference for those you help. • Are receptive and have good interpersonal skills with users/care recipients, family members, colleagues, other professionals, and management. • Are responsible, flexible, and willing to learn new things. • Have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as Swedish is the common working language at the workplace. Many of your work tasks involve receiving instructions and conveying information in a correct and clear manner. You will collaborate and communicate with people from different language backgrounds and are expected to contribute your experience and expertise in a positive and constructive way. • Have good computer skills. • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. The work can be physically and mentally demanding, which requires good health. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A criminal record extract must be provided by anyone offered employment with us. You can order this from the Police website.
