Lindholmens Technical Gymnasium has approximately 1,000 students and 90 employees and offers Gothenburg's broadest range of technical education – both practical and theoretical. Here you can study the Electrical and Energy Program, Industrial Technology Program, Maritime Education, Engineering Program, and HVAC and Property Management Program. The school is certified as a Technology College, and the HVAC and Property Management Program is also certified as an HVAC College, which means close collaboration with the industry and high-quality education. The ventilation specialty at Lindholmens Technical Gymnasium is Sweden's first industry-certified ventilation education within an HVAC College. Work Tasks As a vocational teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and develop instruction together with your colleagues in your work team. You will teach primarily in subjects within the ventilation specialty and partly in HVAC and property management subjects. We would appreciate if you have experience in several areas such as HVAC, cooling, property management, but primarily in the ventilation field. You will work with practical and varied instruction where student development is central, and you will provide continuous feedback to help them reach their full potential. An important part of the role is contact with the working world, and you will, among other things: Manage students' work-based learning (APL). Collaborate with companies regarding APL placements. Dialogue with APL supervisors and companies. Participate in industry councils to develop education in line with industry needs. You thus become an important link between school and working life. The role also includes mentorship where you support students in their studies and development. The work is conducted in collaboration with student services, guardians, and external actors. Qualifications We are looking for someone with professional experience in the HVAC and property management field with current industry knowledge and broad expertise, particularly in the ventilation field. Teaching certification is desirable but not required. What matters most to us is your professional skill and your commitment. If you lack teaching credentials, we can offer a fixed-term contract, and for the right person there is an opportunity to obtain teaching credentials during employment.
