In fall 2019, we opened a brand new school in the Bråvalla area and relocated the vocational programs from Ebersteinska Gymnasium to this location. Bråvalla Gymnasium is an education center for vocational training and is a creative and modern school equipped with the latest technology. The school has approximately 750 students enrolled in a wide range of vocational programs. As of January 2026, we also launched a transportation program for adult learners at Bråvalla. Bråvalla Gymnasium is a new and modern upper secondary school for students interested in technology, innovation, and practical problem-solving. Here, students earn a vocational diploma with the opportunity to continue their education. Visit us at http://bravalla.norrkoping.se/ Your responsibilities As a teacher in the program, you will instruct courses related to the program's various vocational paths in Property Management, Ventilation, and Plumbing. Your work includes maintaining close contact with the industry regarding work-based learning placements and visits, and conducting assessment discussions in the form of three-party meetings with mentors and students. You will work in a teaching team with responsibility and authority and a well-adapted assignment that should lead to increased engagement, efficiency, and the spread of new pedagogical ideas. We have ongoing development work to provide our students with the best vocational education. Mentorship of students is part of the position. Who are you? We are looking for you if you are a certified vocational teacher in plumbing and property technology. Alternatively, you may have upper secondary or adult education in plumbing and property combined with many years of professional experience in the field. Industry certifications are an asset. When working with students, it is an advantage if you have previous teaching experience at the upper secondary level or have been a mentor for students in work-based learning (APL). We also consider it an asset if you have good contacts within the industry. A Category B driver's license is a requirement for the position. As a person, you are outgoing, enjoy working with students, and have good collaborative skills. You are confident, stable, and maintain boundaries between the personal and professional. You have the ability to give clear instructions to others. You interact in a receptive and humble way in your collaboration with others. You prioritize the benefit of the entire operation in your work, and you are particularly skilled at creating a good learning environment with a productive atmosphere and a sense of security for your students. You plan instruction together with colleagues and enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with students at the school. You inspire and motivate others and create engagement and participation. You are a knowledge resource who is persistent and always tries to find new ways to reach students and promote their learning in collaboration with your colleagues. To succeed in this position, we see that you have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing. You also have good computer skills.
