We're looking for an experienced accounting economist who is either ready to take on, or has the ambition and prerequisites to grow into, a leading accounting role.
About the role
As an accounting economist at Wibax Sweden, you'll work with the Swedish group's accounting. You'll be part of the Swedish finance department at our headquarters in Piteå, where about ten colleagues support several Wibax companies with operations throughout the country with a clear growth agenda. The role combines qualified accounting work with development of work methods and processes. You work both operatively and improvement-focused, and have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in both ongoing accounting matters and more complex issues.
Your main responsibilities:
Monthly financial statements, annual financial statements and regulatory reporting
Lead and participate in improvement projects and development work
Coordinate finance assistants and accounting specialists
Manage and investigate accounting, VAT, taxes, income tax returns and similar matters
This is a permanent position based at Wibax headquarters in Piteå.
About you
To succeed in this role, you need to be confident in your accounting expertise. You have several years of experience in qualified accounting and post-secondary education in economics.
Your ability to tackle new issues is especially important. You're curious about understanding what lies behind a question, seek information, interpret rules and legislation, and weigh different options against each other to find well-founded solutions.

You're curious about the business behind the figures and want to understand how accounting can contribute to business development.
