About Kriminalvården Kriminalvården is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and are now seeking additional staff members. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the cycle of crime. If we succeed, society becomes safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand centers, and inmate transport. The Communications Department is responsible for the authority's internal and external communication work, press matters, and the authority's overall brand management. This position is placed within the web section, which manages and develops Kriminalvården's external and internal websites. We recently launched a new external website and are now working on developing a completely new internal website. Job Description Kriminalvården is now building a new internal website. It is one of the most important channels within the authority and serves many different users with different needs. In this position, you will be part of the project team working on content for the new internal website. The work involves writing original texts as well as editing others' texts to ensure they fulfill their purpose and are tailored to the users. You will also work closely with the project's other web editors and collaborate with several subject matter experts in the organization. In your writing, you will follow the authority's writing guidelines and plain language principles. Other tasks within the project or communications department may also occur. The employment is for 6 months with a possible opportunity for extension. Qualifications We are looking for someone who works well with others and can relate to people in a responsive and flexible manner. We are looking for someone who has: Relevant education in communication at post-secondary level Several years of experience working as a web editor or writer Experience working with plain language Very good skills in formulating yourself clearly and simply for websites Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Good knowledge of Microsoft Office It is also advantageous to have: Higher education/university degree with focus on Swedish studies, web writing, plain language, or similar Experience working with the authority's writing guidelines Experience working as a web editor in a larger organization or authority Experience working in Optimizely Experience writing and editing texts in larger web projects Knowledge of accessibility and WCAG guidelines on websites Other Information Kriminalvården has decided to remove the cover letter and replace it with selection questions relevant to the position.
