Do you want to work with complex building construction projects while contributing to the development of Swedish process industry? We are now looking for an experienced building engineer for AFRY in Luleå. Here you will work with varied assignments within the process industry—from early feasibility studies to building design projects—together with a competent and engaged team. You will be part of an operation in strong growth where collaboration, development, and technical expertise are in focus.
About the Position
Professionals Nord is recruiting a building engineer on behalf of AFRY. This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at AFRY for 12 months. The intention is that you could eventually become directly employed by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities
In your role as a building engineer, you work with design and construction within the process industry. You are responsible for technical solutions and collaborate closely with both customers and the project organization to ensure high quality throughout the project.
Examples of responsibilities:
Be responsible for construction and/or calculation in projects
Be responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementing assignments regarding time, quality, and budget
Coordinate and collaborate with clients, as well as internal and external project partners
Serve as an advisory engineer in early project phases
Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and contribute to long-term customer relationships
Who We Are Looking For
We believe your personal qualities are crucial to how well you will thrive in the role at AFRY. We are looking for someone with solid experience as a building engineer and who enjoys working on technically complex projects. You have good knowledge of applicable building regulations, as well as experience in building design and structural calculations. We would like you to have expertise in one or more areas such as concrete, steel, wood, or foundation construction. Experience from process or other industrial operations is a plus.
As a person, you are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate with others, enjoy customer interaction, and are motivated by contributing to both project and business development. We would prefer that you have a university degree or civil engineering degree in a relevant field.
