About Samskapa At Samskapa, we work with young people who have some of the most complex treatment needs within residential care. These are young people who may have a combination of severe social issues, neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and behaviors that demand a lot from both you and the organization. Many have already encountered several different interventions. You will therefore meet young people where there isn't always a straightforward path forward and where sometimes something different from what has been tried before is needed. About the role As a treatment worker, you work closely with young people in their everyday lives and are an important part of their treatment and development. You help create structure, predictability, and security, while implementing treatment interventions based on the young person's individual needs and implementation plan. The work can be intensive and require you to quickly adapt to the situation. You may need to handle strong emotions, conflicts, and behaviors that are difficult to understand and even harder to change. You work with motivation work, supportive conversations, daily structure, activities, and individually adapted treatment interventions. You need to be able to try different approaches, evaluate what you do, and reconsider when something isn't working. There is rarely a simple manual for what to do here. That's exactly why we need really good treatment workers. You collaborate with colleagues and other important people around the young person, such as school, social services, and guardians. Documentation is a natural part of the work and helps us follow the young person's development and ensure quality in treatment. Who do we think you are? Someone who enjoys working closely with young people and who doesn't give up just because the path forward becomes winding. You want to understand what's behind the young person's behavior and are genuinely curious about what can help the specific young person you meet. You feel secure when situations become intense and can be both warm and clear. You understand that boundaries and relationships are not opposites and can keep your composure even when the young person's emotions take center stage. You enjoy seeing development, even when it comes in small steps. When something doesn't work, you don't dwell on it but think about what you could do differently. You work independently and take responsibility for your assignment, but don't believe you need to have all the answers yourself. You appreciate working together with others, sharing experiences, and learning from your colleagues.
