We are now looking for a dedicated and responsible personal assistant for a preschool-age child with extensive medical needs. The position means you will become an important part of the child's daily life and contribute to their security, development, and quality of life. The work is performed in the home environment and where the child spends time during the day. The role includes qualified care, handling of medical equipment (including tube feeding), personal hygiene, transfers, and support with play and exercise. You work closely with the family and are part of a team where cooperation and communication are crucial. The position involves awake supervision and double staffing. Work shifts are scheduled during day, evening, and night hours, seven days a week. We would appreciate it if you have the ability to step in with short notice when needed. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, and has a genuine commitment to working with children with special needs. You are flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing situations. Working independently and taking responsibility comes naturally to you, while you also value good cooperation with colleagues. You should have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, be thorough with documentation, have a professional and respectful approach, be patient and attentive. Experience in personal assistance or work in healthcare and elderly care is a merit, especially if you have previously worked with children and medical interventions.
