We are looking for a committed and thorough forklift operator for Ala Sawmill. With us, you will become part of a team where collaboration, safety, and responsibility are in focus. In this role, you will work with managing incoming and outgoing material flows and contribute to ensuring that production runs safely, efficiently, and with high quality. The work is varied and involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues, transporters, and other parts of the operation. Job Responsibilities As a forklift operator, you will, among other things: Handle incoming and outgoing loads, packages, and materials Sort and transport materials between different parts of the facility Communicate with transporters, drivers, and internal departments Perform daily inspections of machines and equipment and report any faults and deviations Assist with repairs and other maintenance work Participate in improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency Contribute to good organization and a safe working environment Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Forklift certificate class B1 B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Basic computer skills It is an advantage if you have: Industrial technical education at upper secondary level or equivalent Previous experience from sawmills, process industry, or other similar industrial operations Who Are You?
