WORK TASKS
We are looking for substitute teachers for the municipality's elementary schools. Working with children and young people is fun, developmental, and meaningful, but it can also be challenging. It requires personal maturity, such as being able to stay calm even in critical situations, helping children manage setbacks and conflicts, and respecting children's integrity.
We expect you to be able to lead a class, from preschool class to grade 9. It is not a requirement to be willing to work everywhere, so please mention in your application which grades you prefer to work with. There is also work available in after-school care.
QUALIFICATIONS
The basic requirement is that you have completed upper secondary education. It is a merit if you have completed the Child and Youth Program or have started teacher training.
We would like to see that you are multilingual, but it is a requirement that you can understand and make yourself understood orally in Swedish. You must be able to communicate in Swedish with the youngest children in elementary school and on the phone with adults.
To work as a substitute teacher in elementary school, it is important that you have good ability to collaborate and are calm and attentive in your interactions. You take responsibility and have the ability to make decisions based on well-founded considerations and priorities.
Salary form: Hourly wage.
