Responsibilities As a family counselor at Kungälvs Municipality, you will play a central role in supporting and strengthening families in vulnerable situations. In your daily work, you will: - Conduct individual and family-centered treatments to promote wellbeing and development. - Develop and implement customized treatment interventions in accordance with the family's needs and resources. - Work closely with the child and family to create trusting relationships that enable change. - Be one of our many facilitators for the support groups that Kungälvs Municipality offers children and parents. - Collaborate with other actors, such as schools, healthcare, police, and other parts of our social services, to ensure comprehensive solutions for families. - Participate in regular team meetings and supervision to continually develop methodology and receive support in your work. Qualifications - Relevant education in social work, social worker degree preferably with further education in family-oriented work or equivalent education. - Experience working with families and children in vulnerable situations, preferably within social services or equivalent activities. - Ability to build good relationships and collaborate effectively with both colleagues and clients. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to be able to convey and document information clearly. - Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Commitment and resilience to support and strengthen families through tailored interventions and treatments. - Flexibility and adaptability in a varied work environment.
