Division of Surgery and Urology Within the division, approximately 450 employees work across outpatient clinics, care wards, and medical sections. We conduct both broad surgical operations and highly specialized care, and a large portion of our patients are referred from other parts of the country for advanced examination and treatment. We are a research-intensive operation with close collaboration with Uppsala University. As a junior doctor, you will become part of the clinical operations and have the opportunity to develop your expertise in surgical care. Placement will be in the section where there is a need for a substitute position and will be determined in connection with the appointment. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and have a clear interest in surgery. Previous clinical experience within surgical operations is a merit. Experience in research, particularly in surgery, is also a merit. Your Competence We are looking for an engaged and responsible colleague who wants to develop within surgery. You have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in a team, and contribute to a good work environment. You take responsibility for your work tasks, have a professional approach, and are motivated to develop both your clinical expertise and the operations together with your colleagues. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. What We Offer We offer a 12-month substitute position as a junior doctor with start date by agreement. The substitute position gives you the opportunity to build further on your clinical experience in surgery in a highly specialized and academic environment. The position offers good opportunities to build qualifications for future ST positions within the division. On-call duty is included in the position.
