The Rehabilitation Services in Båstads Municipality is seeking you to work as a substitute physical therapist for 6 months starting fall 2026. The Rehabilitation Services consists of seven occupational therapists, seven physical therapists, a rehabilitation assistant, a custodian, and a unit manager. Our operations are based in Grevie and we work across the municipality in teams with home care, special housing, LSS activities, social psychiatry, and short-term housing. You need to be open and flexible in your work approach, as we daily need to adapt to prioritize what is most important right now. Teamwork is an important part of healthcare work within care and support services. You will meet, in addition to our own operations, nurses, assistant nurses, care attendants, benefits officers, and unit managers in the various services. We support each other in the work group and all contribute to making a difference for the individual patient and resident in Båstads Municipality. We work patient-centered together with the individual care and support recipient based on their needs. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a physical therapist in Båstads Municipality, you work to enable the individual to live as independently as possible. You share overall rehabilitation responsibility with the occupational therapist. You conduct assessments, training, evaluation, and follow-up, as well as provision and follow-up of technical aids according to the physical therapist's prescribing authority. The work also includes informing, instructing, and guiding staff, patients, and relatives regarding rehabilitative and preventive measures. Close collaboration occurs with other professions, team work, and work with discharge planning using the tool "My Plans" when patients are being discharged from hospital inpatient care. We document in the Lifecare HSL system and ordering of aids is done via websesam. We offer you the opportunity to work with us starting this fall for 6 months. Start date is by agreement. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a licensed physical therapist. It is meritorious if you have prior experience working as a licensed physical therapist, particularly within municipal services. The position requires that you have the ability to independently plan and organize your work and that you have good collaboration skills both internally and externally. You need to be flexible as work tasks vary and be able to prioritize in different situations. You need to have a genuine interest and commitment to working with people. You are stimulated by challenges and place great value on good service and conduct. The position requires that you take great personal responsibility in your professional role.
